Last Updated: 12 October 2026•nextdestinationholidays.com
At Next Destination Holidays, we understand that travel plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which customers may cancel bookings, request changes, and receive refunds for services booked through us.
By confirming a booking with Next Destination Holidays, you agree to the applicable cancellation and refund conditions communicated at the time of booking, subject to applicable laws.
1. Cancellation Policy
Customers who wish to cancel a holiday package or travel booking must submit a cancellation request in writing to:
Email: info@nextdestinationholidays.com
Phone: 9316975316
Cancellation requests will be processed after we receive and verify the relevant booking details. The applicable cancellation charges depend on:
•The date the cancellation request is received.
•The travel date and booking confirmation date.
•The type of holiday package or travel service booked.
•The cancellation conditions of hotels, airlines, transport providers, and other suppliers.
•Any non-refundable deposits, tickets, reservations, or advance payments.
Customers are advised to review the specific cancellation conditions provided in their quotation or booking confirmation before making a payment.
2. Cancellation Charges
Cancellation charges may vary depending on the package and the service providers involved.
Some bookings may be partially refundable, while others may be non-refundable due to supplier conditions or advance commitments. Where applicable, cancellation charges and refund eligibility will be communicated to customers before booking confirmation.
If a booking-specific cancellation schedule has been provided and accepted, that schedule will apply subject to applicable law. If no specific schedule has been provided, the cancellation request will be assessed according to relevant supplier terms, services arranged, and applicable legal requirements.
Standard Domestic Cancellation Guidelines (Unless otherwise specified):
- 30 days or more prior to departure: Full refund minus administrative fees and actual non-refundable vendor deposits.
- 15 to 29 days prior to departure: 50% cancellation fee of the total package cost.
- 7 to 14 days prior to departure: 75% cancellation fee of the total package cost.
- Less than 7 days / No Show: 100% cancellation fee (Non-refundable).
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be available where a booking is cancelled in accordance with the applicable cancellation conditions.
The refund amount, if any, will depend on:
•The amount paid by the customer.
•The cancellation terms applicable to the booking.
•The amounts refundable by relevant service providers.
•Any permitted cancellation charges or non-refundable costs.
•Any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
Certain services, including discounted hotel bookings, flight tickets, tiger safari permits, and special peak holiday offers, may be non-refundable where disclosed prior to purchase.
4. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund has been approved and the refundable amount has been determined, we will initiate the refund through the original payment method wherever practicable.
The time required for the refund to appear in the customer's account generally ranges between 7 to 14 business days, depending on banking institutions, payment gateways, and supplier processing schedules.
We are not responsible for delays caused by banking holidays, international wire transfers, or third-party payment gateways.
5. Non-Refundable Services
Unless otherwise agreed or required by law, the following categories are strictly non-refundable once booked:
- National Park Safari Permits & Jeep Bookings: Forest department tiger safari permits (e.g. Bandhavgarh, Ranthambore, Kanha) are non-transferable and 100% non-refundable upon permit issuance.
- Flight Tickets & Train Bookings: Governed strictly by airline/railway fare rules; non-refundable fares cannot be refunded.
- Peak Season / Festival Bookings: Stays during Christmas, New Year, Diwali, or high festival periods where hotels enforce 100% advance non-refundable commitments.
- Unused Services During Trip: No refund will be granted for missed hotel nights, unused meals, unutilized transport, or missed sightseeing excursions due to late arrival or personal choice.
6. Trip Rescheduling and Date Amendments
Customers who wish to change their travel dates, destination, or passenger details must submit a written request as early as possible.
Rescheduling is subject to:
•Room and vehicle availability for the newly requested dates.
•Fare and seasonal rate differences between original and new dates.
•Supplier amendment fees or reissue charges.
While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests without unnecessary costs, changes cannot always be guaranteed, especially during peak seasons.
7. Cancellations by Next Destination Holidays
In rare situations where Next Destination Holidays is forced to cancel a confirmed booking due to operational reasons, supplier failure, or insufficient group sizes, we will promptly inform the customer and offer:
- An alternative holiday package of equivalent standard and value; or
- A full refund of the amount paid for the unprovided services.
We shall not be liable for incidental expenses incurred by customers, such as independent visa fees, vaccinations, or independent non-refundable travel purchases.
8. Force Majeure and Exceptional Circumstances
Neither party shall be held liable for cancellations, interruptions, or alterations caused by force majeure events beyond reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, landslides, or severe weather storms.
- Government restrictions, curfew, border closures, or emergency travel advisories.
- Epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies.
- Civil unrest, strikes, airline grounding, or airport closures.
In force majeure situations, we will endeavor to negotiate supplier credit notes or refunds where possible, subject to actual deductions imposed by airlines and hotels.
9. Customer No-Show
If a customer fails to check in at the scheduled hotel, misses a designated transfer, or fails to board a scheduled flight/train without prior written cancellation, the booking will be treated as a No-Show and no refund will be provided.
10. Payment Deductions and Banking Charges
Any bank processing charges, credit card transaction fees, currency exchange adjustments, or administrative processing costs incurred during refund disbursement will be deducted from the total refund amount where permitted by law.
11. Disputes and Chargebacks
Customers are encouraged to contact our customer support team directly at info@nextdestinationholidays.com to resolve any billing questions or refund queries amicably.
Filing an unauthorized chargeback without prior consultation may delay refund verification and resolution.
12. Policy Updates
Next Destination Holidays reserves the right to amend this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time. Updates will take effect upon posting to this website. Bookings will be governed by the policy active at the time of booking confirmation.
